Aside from the wonderful local attractions right on our doorstep, like the Grade II listed Victorian Pier (at 2,295ft the longest Pier in Wales), Venue Cymru Theatre, the vast Promenade and Town Centre, there is so much to enjoy in this region, nearby there are a wealth of attractions and activities for our holiday makers like walking, golf, tennis, bowls, windsurfing, sailing, dry slope skiing, tobogganing, sea or freshwater fishing and pony trekking – all available within just a few miles.
Choose to visit The Great Orme which rises 679 feet out of the sea with almost sheer cliffs. Its lower slopes contain Happy Valley Gardens, Haulfre Gardens and the Ski Slope, while the summit area is largely open with many walks, viewpoints, a cafe, a Bar once owned by Randolf Turpin the well known boxer, a Visitor Centre and the Bronze Age Copper Mines. The Great Orme can be driven round via a Toll Road, or use the Great Orme Tramway (the only cable-hauled tramway still operating on British public roads) or take the Alpine Victorian bus. There are also fantastic views across the Bay from the longest Cable Car ride in Britain.
Medieval Conwy, a World Heritage Centre, is only seven miles away and Guests can visit its famous Castle, Plas Mawr (a lovingly restored Elizabethan townhouse) and walk the town’s Ancient Walls. Take a trip on the open top tour bus to Conwy – a must for all ages.
